Like every GPA helmet, the 4S was developed with maximum protection as the focus. The 4S is a technological revolution with its 4 layers which enable optimum shock absorption as well as better resistance to lateral compression.

In thermoplastic resin, the chinstrap provides extended protection for the neck as the area covered is larger than in customary helmets. The reinforcement that the chinstrap provides to the shell increases resistance in the event of a side-on impact.The new Fidlock magnetic fastener can be opened and closed quickly with one hand, which makes it much easier to use.
